Our mission
Energy is the foundation of modern industrial societies – and undergoing radical transformation as part of the energy transition. Yet the price of energy is not a law of nature. It is the result of infrastructure decisions, market rules, and political choices – and therefore something that can be shaped.
The Energy Lab analyses how energy costs arise and who bears them – from households to energy-intensive industries. It develops proposals for how energy can be provided as cost-effectively and sustainably as possible.
