The fight against the climate crisis is inextricably linked to the question of energy: What role do fossil fuels and CO₂ budgets, technological innovation, and political will play? Where does Germany stand – and what is needed to ensure that the energy transition also becomes a climate transition? Together with Anders Levermann, we would like to take a look at the interactions between energy and climate – and discuss the dynamics, tipping points, and opportunities for change that science sees today.
