- Professional experience: Since 2020, Philipp has served as an expert in Austria’s Fiscal Council, an independent council monitoring fiscal policy. In 2022, the EP's ECON committee invited Philipp to participate in a panel discussion on the drivers of and solutions for high inflation and a public hearing on EU fiscal rules reform. In March 2023, he authored a report for the ECON committee assessing the role of debt sustainability analysis. Several institutions have sought his expertise, including the European Stability Mechanism and Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs.
