Seit 2019 hat Open Philanthropy die Arbeit des Dezernat Zukunft mit über 4,3 Mio. US-$ unterstützt. Ein Teil dieser Förderung diente dem Aufbau unseres European Macro Policy Networks (EMPN), in dessen Rahmen wir Organisationen und Projekte finanzieren, die – wie wir – an den Themen Finanz-, Geld- und Wirtschaftspolitik arbeiten.  

Ziel dieses Netzwerks ist es, den innereuropäischen Austausch zu vertiefen und langfristig Fortschritte in der Weiterentwicklung der europäischen Finanzarchitektur zu erreichen. Seit der Gründung des Netzwerks im vergangenen Jahr konnten wir bereits sechs Organisationen und Projekte aus Italien, den Niederlanden, Österreich und Deutschland mit ca. 2,1 Mio. € fördern.  

Dank der Unterstützung von Open Philanthropy können wir diese Arbeit nun fortführen und den Ausbau des Netzwerks vorantreiben. Hierzu haben wir eine weitere Förderung in Höhe von 2,4 Mio. US-$ erhalten, die wir in den kommenden Jahren an europäische Organisationen und Projekte weitergeben werden.

Further funding from Open Philanthropy to expand the European Macro Policy Network 

Since 2019, Open Philanthropy has supported the work of Dezernat Zukunft with over $4.3m. A significant part of this funding went towards establishing the European Macro Policy Network (EMPN), via which we fund organisations and projects that – like us – work on fiscal, monetary and economic policy in Europe. 

The aim of this network is to deepen intra-European exchange and to achieve durable progress regarding Europe’s financial architecture. Since the start of the network last year, we have made grants to six organisations and projects based in Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, and Germany for a total volume of over €2.1 million. 

Thanks to the help from Open Philanthropy, we can now continue this work and further expand the network. To this end, we have received a fresh grant of $2.4m, which we will pass on to European organisations and projects in the coming years.
